42-year-old Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem was killed on Monday after being ejected from the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. Six Flags Over Georgia is keeping its ‘Final Destination’-themed Halloween attraction despite the death of a man on the Goliath roller coaster.
A Six Flags Over Georgia spokesperson said, “Six Flags Magic Mountain will operate its Fright Fest programming as scheduled.”
Authorities say Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem struck other riders before falling beneath the Goliath roller coaster. Several other guests were injured in the incident involving the Goliath roller coaster.
The ‘Final Destination’ franchise features a roller coaster disaster sequence in the film ‘Final Destination 3’.
Six Flags states that the ‘Final Destination’ maze does not contain scenes related to a theme park.
