Diddy Suffers Head Injury in Fight at Fort Dix FCI
Sean Combs, known as Diddy, reportedly suffered a head injury during a fight with a Jamaican drug lord inmate at Fort Dix FCI on the preceding Friday. The inmate involved in the fight is Christopher Coke, who goes by the name “Dudus.”
Combs did not bump his head on a bunk bed at the facility, as the head injury instead resulted from the fight with the drug lord at FCI Fort Dix. The altercation between Combs and Coke took place at the correctional institution.
The fight reportedly was caused by inmates, including Christopher Coke, who were angry that Diddy had been exposed in an NBC News report about his luxurious life behind bars. The cause of the fight was reportedly “Diddy getting all the inmates in trouble.” Diddy is alleged to have fought Dudus, a Jamaican drug lord currently serving a 23-year prison sentence.
Prison officials rushed Diddy to an outside facility for treatment due to the severity of his head injury. Diddy was reportedly rushed out of prison by ambulance early on the Saturday following the fight to receive emergency treatment.
Diddy was already in the Special Housing Unit due to the NBC News report when the fight occurred during his daily break.
Prison officials conducted at least two raids and confiscated cell phones from inmates, including Christopher Coke, following the NBC News report.
After the fight, both Diddy and Christopher Coke were placed in the Special Housing Unit for two weeks’ punishment.
The allegations suggest that Diddy’s privileges in prison have proven controversial.
