Cardi B Makes “Tiny Desk Concert” Debut in Washington, D.C.
Cardi B made her Tiny Desk Concert debut at NPR’s Tiny Desk series in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. The performance featured eight songs from her 2018 debut album “Invasion of Privacy” and her 2025 album “Am I The Drama?”.
The set included “Hello,” “ErrTime,” “Up,” and “Man of Your Word” from “Am I The Drama?,” and “Be Careful,” “Bodak Yellow,” and “I Like It” from “Invasion of Privacy.” Cardi B said, “Let me drink some water you know I smoke cigarettes.”
During the “Tiny Desk Concert” performance, Cardi B altered the lyrics of “ErrTime,” replacing Latto’s name with her sister Hennessy. In the same song, she also swapped a shout-out to Latto for a mention of Kelly Rowland.
Cardi B changed the lyrics to “Be Careful” during the set to take a jab at her exes. The ending portion of the “Be Careful” performance was described as hilarious.
The “ErrTime” changes reflected a 2025 falling out between Cardi B and Latto. Leaked audio captured Cardi B referring to Latto’s nonconfrontational history as “pu**y” during a phone call with Ice Spice’s manager.
Cardi B publicly apologized for the incident with Latto. Latto addressed the situation on her 2026 album “Big Mama” with the song “Gimmie Dat.”
The “Be Careful” lyric changes followed a stretch of personal upheaval for Cardi B, who split from her husband Offset in 2024. She also split from NFL star Stefon Diggs in February 2026 after roughly a year of dating.
“Am I The Drama?” was released in September 2025. The record marked Cardi B’s first full-length album since “Invasion of Privacy.”
