Boosie BadAzz Accepts Lil Wayne “Verzuz” Battle Challenge
Boosie BadAzz appeared in a video that surfaced on social media on Oct. 9, claiming he could easily win a “Verzuz” battle against any rapper. When Lil Wayne was suggested as a competitor for a “Verzuz” battle, Boosie BadAzz accepted the challenge. In a recent video, he stated that he could beat Lil Wayne in a “Verzuz” battle.
About his attitude toward a battle with Lil Wayne, Boosie BadAzz said, “You go get Wayne. I’m gonna stand up like a mothaf*cking champ.”
Boosie BadAzz has expressed no animosity toward Lil Wayne but maintains that his catalog can stand toe-to-toe with Lil Wayne’s in a “Verzuz” battle. In the same reporting, Boosie BadAzz stated that it does not matter which era he chooses for a “Verzuz” battle, claiming he has two Hall of Fames.
“I got two Hall of Fames, real talk. Just like Kobe [Bryant], I’m No. 8 and No. 24… I started in ’98, it’s ’26, mane,” Boosie BadAzz said.
He compared his dual personas, Lil Boosie and Boosie Badazz, to Kobe Bryant’s jersey numbers 8 and 24, HotNewHipHop reported. On the specific prospect of facing Lil Wayne in a “Verzuz” battle, Boosie BadAzz said, “Bring him on.”
The broader set of comments came in the wake of a social media exchange between Boosie BadAzz and former Cash Money Records artist Turk, who claimed that Boosie stole his rap persona and fade haircut. Following that exchange, Turk called out Boosie BadAzz to a “Verzuz” battle.
Boosie BadAzz dismissed Turk’s challenge, stating that Turk was delusional and did not have a catalog to speak of.
In a separate matter, Boosie BadAzz previously confirmed he was approached to do a “Verzuz” battle against Trick Daddy. Trick Daddy turned down the opportunity to battle Boosie BadAzz in a “Verzuz” due to their friendship.
Do you think Boosie BadAzz could outperform Lil Wayne in a “Verzuz” battle, and would you watch?
