Ferg Finishes New Album, A$AP Rocky Seemingly Offers AWGE
On October 12, 2026, Ferg posted on his Instagram page that he had finished his new album and asked who wanted to distribute it. A$AP Rocky commented on the post with the message “U know where home is ❤️ congratulations.” The comment seemed to offer the services of his AWGE label to help promote Ferg’s project.
Ferg responded to A$AP Rocky’s comment on Instagram by writing Appreciate you King and including a heart hands emoji. The exchange took place in the comment section of the same Instagram post in which Ferg had announced the album’s completion and solicited a distributor.
The exchange between A$AP Rocky and Ferg on Instagram indicates that the two A$AP members have buried the hatchet. The two are willing to work together again. Neither artist has announced a completed distribution agreement, but Rocky’s comment suggests he is open to helping Ferg get the music out.
In a September 2026 interview on “The Jason Lee Show,” A$AP Rocky expressed disappointment that Ferg dropped A$AP from his stage name. Rocky said, “I always love Ferg. Ferg, he got a good heart.”
Ferg confirmed in January 2025 that he dropped the A$AP from his name. During a September appearance on Complex Bets’ “In Motion With Ashley Nicole Moss,” Ferg explained that he used the name Ferg before working with the Mob. He adopted the name A$AP Ferg when he joined the collective.
Ferg stated that the members of A$AP Mob are not mobbing anymore. He said the reason is that everyone is pursuing their own interests and responsibilities. Ferg said, “We’re not mobbing anymore.”
Ferg and A$AP Rocky previously collaborated on the songs “Shabba” and the “Work” remix. Both tracks are associated with Ferg’s 2013 debut album, “Trap Lord.”
The Instagram exchange suggests there could be another opportunity for Ferg and A$AP Rocky to work together without Ferg using the A$AP name. Whether it becomes a distribution arrangement remains to be seen.
