Bureau of Prisons Denies Sean Combs Fight With ‘Dudus’ Coke
The Bureau of Prisons denied reports that Sean Combs suffered a head injury during an altercation with Christopher “Dudus” Coke at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson said on October 15, “We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen.”
On October 12, Sean Combs was reportedly transported out of FCI Fort Dix after suffering a head injury that weekend. On October 14, Christopher “Dudus” Coke was identified as the inmate allegedly involved in a fight with Combs.
A separate account stated that Sean Combs injured himself by hitting his head on a bunk bed, offering a different explanation than the fight story. Sean Combs was reportedly transported out of FCI Fort Dix to treat an injury.
Journalist Loren LoRosa reported that Sean Combs’ family denied that a fight with Christopher “Dudus” Coke occurred.
Christopher “Dudus” Coke was reportedly the inmate who fought Sean Combs, motivated by unhappiness over Combs’ prison privileges. Both men were reportedly placed in solitary confinement for two weeks following the alleged fight.
The injury that prompted Combs’ transport from FCI Fort Dix was believed not to be life-threatening.
Tension between Sean Combs and Christopher “Dudus” Coke reportedly developed after NBC News published reporting about Combs’ access to contraband. Sean Combs was reportedly returned to solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix after being found with a cell phone, Hennessy, and money used to get massages and gourmet meals.
A spokesperson for Sean Combs said, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”
Sean Combs is serving a 50-month sentence following his 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His projected release date moved from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028.
